The Tape Outreach Coordinator of Pakistan has
either been receiving by mail or email ten to fifteen testimonies a day of
people who are accepting Jesus as Savior through tracts and tapes.
This outreach was birthed on July 5, 2004. It
started with an intial shipment of 100 cassette tapes. Over the months of
August, September, and October, we sent an additional 900 tapes. Then, in
November 2004, we produced 5,000 cassette tapes right in the nation, along
with 100,000 tracts. Since then, the tape outreach has given away all the
tapes except a few hundred.
The results of giving away the above 6,000 tapes
has equated to over 3,000 souls giving their heart to Christ. The Tape
Outreach Coordinator, Naomi Sadiq, has put together teams that take these
tools and go house to house, business to business, door to door on a regular
daily basis. They have also incorporated the using of these tools into
their other events, such as their Kite Festival, their Feed the Children
Programs, their ministry to the Gypsies, and many other types of events.
According to Naomi, everywhere you go in her area of Pakistan, you can see
the tapes and tracts. You can see them in all the different villages and
all the different towns, and people know what they are, and people want
them.
Please continue to pray for everyone involved in
this outreach. Everything that has been accomplished so far has been done
mostly during the cold weather months with limited travel. Since the
weather is warming up, they now have plans to start going further out and
reaching more of the nation. April 1 to April 5, 2005, coordinator Naomi
Sadiq has a group of fifty other leaders coming together to hear about this
new way of fishing (reaching the lost with tracts and tapes). Through this
effort, we believe we will raise up a bigger army of workers to reach more
of the nation faster.
Because we are down to just a couple hundred
tapes, it is necessary to do something to keep this work moving forward.
Today, we have made agreement to produce 20,000 cassette tapes in the nation
of Pakistan. The cost of this will be $4,200. We will be taking possession
of the first 5,000 tapes in April, the second 5,000 in June, the third 5,000
in August, and the final 5,000 in October. Because this outreach has done
such an excellent job, we must do everything we can to keep them equipped
with the things they need to do the work that God has called them to do.
As I asked earlier, please pray for Naomi and
her team. Please pray specifically that God will meet every financial need
of this outreach. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people of
Pakistan to receive the messages that Naomi and her team bring. Please pray
that God will give us the wisdom to raise the finances for all of these tape
and tract outreaches.
The truth is, the tract and tape outreaches are
growing faster than we have the finances to keep up with. God has provided,
and I know He will continue to. I'm just not sure how He will. This is
bigger than we are. This is bigger than I ever could have imagined. I
guess I should not be surprised. Because when we sent out the first box of
46 tapes, it was under God's direction to do so. God Ideas work! Please
prayerfully consider how God would have you help in the financing of the
tract and tape outreaches.
The 20,000 tapes that we are now purchasing in
Pakistan come to only 21 cents per tape. So, for only $210, a person could
participate in this and be responsible for the purchasing of 1,000 tapes,
which could bring in a huge harvest.
Think about it from this perspective. Over
3,000 souls have been saved since July of 2004 through the use of 6,000
tapes and 100,000 tracts. This is good soil. This is fruitful soil. If
you want to participate in a great harvest, I extend this opportunity to you
today. This truly is an opportunity. I have never had an opportunity to
sow finances in such a fruitful way. Take advantage of this opportunity
today. Be responsible for seeing many souls come into the Kingdom.
